Bad news:  Houston Astros nailed by the St. Louis Cardinals.  Oh well, it 
was a good season considering the mid-year 'Stro's slump.

Good news:  Boston Red Sox win the pennant and will Avenge - AVENGE! - my 
beloved Astros!

Go get 'em, Boston, and never look back.  One game at a time, one pitch at a 
time.

P.S:  next year, the Round Rock Express (suburb of Austin) AA team becomes a 
AAA team (remaining in the Astros family).  What is the AAA team for Boston?

Finally...  The curse of the bambino may be put to rest!

Pawtucket Red Sox (They play at McCoy Stadium) in RI just north of
Providence.  They've been there since the 1970's and have one of the
largest draws in triple A play...
