Hi folks,

We're in the process of doing inventory on all the equipment listed in our
database for all NEARnet sites. I was wondering if you could do us a favor and
check all NEARnet equipment at your site for its serial number and also the MIT
property tag number.  This would save us a great deal of time.

I will survey the following sites myself since they have a lot of equipment to
check: MIT, BBN, Harvard, and Prospect.

If you have an IGS, CGS, MGS or AGS Cisco chassis, the serial number is listed
on the back of the router.  If you have Dowty, Digital Link or Verilink
CSU/DSUs, the serial number is listed on the bottom of the unit.

We would like to get all this information as soon as possible; it would be
greatly appreciated if you would respond within the next few days.
