 My observation is that the majority of attorneys are as confused by computer-
 related legal issues as anyone else.  While yes, one should ultimately resolve
 a policy of this type with one's favorite institution attorney, one should 
 also have a pretty good idea of conventions followed by others and issues that
 are unique to/driven by the nature of computer/communications technology.
