Hello, gang!

Just a quick message to introduce you to LAWRENCE'S OWN...

                   CHIEFTAINS SR. DRUM & BUGLE CORPS!
                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are presently in the middle of a recruitment drive for new members.
We are looking for individuals who want to have fun and learn/play
music.  Our search includes new or experienced drummers, horn players,
and color guard.  We are also interested in Quartermasters and
chaperones.  Our dues are only $20/year and for that we will teach you
how to play and march, provide equipment, uniforms, instructors, and
rehearsal hall.  YOU SUPPLY THE FUN!
We are a parade corps who will not take up a lot of your time.  We only
march in parades, not performing the fancy maneuvers on the field that
requires more rehearsal time than most people can afford.  Our goal is
to look sharp and refine our musical talents.
We rehearse twice a week on Sundays and Tuesdays for two hours at a time
(7:30 to 9:30 p.m.) at St. John the Baptist's Church Hall on Park Street
here in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
For more information, please call Scott or Nancy at (508) 688-1314 or
me, Brian Murphy at (508) 682-1782 just about any time - we're all nuts
and keep weird hours!  <grin>
