What's doin' at BCS Amiga. Lemme
tell ya. The video group is meeting
on Friday Sept. 4 at the BCS offices
(all directions to follow) at 7:30
PM. The focus will be a continuation
of last month's discussion on the
costs of getting into video. The
Amiga Tech group meets on Sept. 7,
a day that will live in infamy in
George Bush's mind. We will be in
conference room C at the BCS at 7:30
listening closely to Joel as he 
offers a talk on 'Digital Electronics
for Computer Users'. Our monthly
general meeting will take place in
** A NEW LOCATION **, namely MIT building
1 room 190 at 7:30. We will be installing
a 2.0 ROM upgrade and a Fatter Agnus
chip in an Amiga 500. Our monthly Amiga
open house will be on Friday Sept. 18
from 6 PM at the BCS offices. The front
door to the building ususally gets locked
at around 8PM, but anyone can get access
by going to the guard station in the
entry of building 200 there at One Kendall
Square and signing in. The guards will
then open the door. We also have a 
meeting of Amiga beginners on the last
Thursday of each month at Joel's house
at 7:30 PM (natch). For Sept. that's the 
24th. 
    MIT building 1 is in the main
campus complex right at the corner of
Mass Ave and Memorial Drive. One can go
in the MIT main entrance (pillars, stairs,
etc.) on Mass Ave and then turn right.
Go all the way down that corridor to find
building 1. Also, there is another entrance
on Mass Ave between the main one and the
river that will be more convenient for some.
There aren't any entrances on the river
side of building 1, but there are several
on the side facing the inner courtyard.
This courtyard is the HUGE one by the river
and is easily accessed on foot from Memorial
Drive. There should be abundant parking along
the Drive there.
    BCS office suite: One Kendall Sq., building
1400 West, 3rd Floor. Contrary to simple 
assumption, One Kendall Sq. isn't in Kendall 
Sq.! It's on Hampshire St. in Cambridge near 
the intersection of Broadway. Use the parking 
garage behind the complex on Old Binney St. 
As you walk out of the garage, cross the 
street and go ahead through the arch. Then 
go right and you will find the entrance of 
1400 West on your right. BCS is on the third 
floor.
    Joel lives at 10 Fellsway West Apt. 2
in Somervile, Mass. Fellsway is one block
West of McGrath Highway on Broadway. #10
is the first door off of Broadway.
