Abstract
We describe the ideas iderlying Parallel C, which are basically
those of Hoare's Communicating Sequential Processes. Parallel C
is a concrete implementation of CSP. We will start with give a
Programmer's eye view of the system, and after describing the
current status of the product, we look at some underlying
implementation issues (kernel design) and future developments.
