Greater Nashua Software Special Interest Group First Meeting Tuesday, Jan 19, 7:00 pm Chandler Library, 257 Main Street, Nashua, NH In response to requests, we are organizing the Greater Nashua Software Special Interest Group (SIG). You are invited to attend the first meeting on Tuesday, Jan 19, at 7:00 pm at the Chandler Library, 257 Main Street, Nashua, NH. To kick-off the SIG, we have invited Frank Grossman and Jim Moskun of Nu-Mega Technologies, a successful software company in Nashua. Nu-Mega develops and markets development tools for DOS and Microsoft Windows. PC Magazine called their Soft-ICE/W product a "must for serious Windows debugging". Frank and Jim will tell how they got started, what they learned, and what they are doing now. Also at this meeting, we will discuss organizational and planning issues for the SIG. We need to find out what your needs and interests are to best define the goals of the SIG and to keep it productive and valuable for all its members. This SIG will provide software entrepreneurs a forum where issues important to their business can be discussed. In return, information relating to software business development will be presented and networking and mentoring between members will be promoted. The SIG is sponsored by the Entrepreneurs Committee of the Center for Economic Development, a cooperative effort between the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, the City of Nashua and the surrounding towns. Bring your ideas and come help us! If you have any questions or need more information, contact one of us.
