The Upstate NY UNIX User's Group March meeting will be a
presentation on "Introduction to JAVA" by John Tyson of Vantage
Group. The presentation will include a description of what the
language provides, why it was developed, and some thoughts on its
use.

The meeting will be at the Sun offices in Latham NY. From exit 24 of
the NYState Thruway, take the Northway north to the Rt7/Troy exit,
take the first exit to Rt9 (about 2 10ths mi) and bear right. The
next light will be Rt9R Cohoes, at Latham Ford. Go east to the 2nd
light, about 4 10th mi, and turn left into the driveway. The
building on the right is the Sun office.

The meeting will be at 7:30pm Mar 19, and a very short business
meeting will precede the talk. After the talk the will be a general
discussion session, open topic.
