[ The reset of Gail's happy personal world deleted. ] Gail, I, too, have a good circle of friends & acquaintances and do enjoy my day-to-day existance. But I also know this is because I put in the personal energy & enthusiasm to make that way. It wasn't personal worlds I was thinking of more than our society as a whole. Let me give you a real life example. Because I have a shitbox car, I really don't care about it having minor dents & scratches. Last summer I pulled up to a stop light and the guy next to me got too close. Both cars were parallel going from 10 mph down to 0 mph. I got a small 2 inch scratch and so did the other car. We exchanged licence info, etc. but I didn't think much of it. Three months later I hear from my insurance company that Garcia (the other driver) had filed a claim against me for the accident claiming physical disabilities with a fancy personal injury lawyer! He described our accident as being like a "T" with me ramming into him!!! If Garcia had lived in my town he would have never thought of trying to pull such a scam; but because we're in different worlds plus his economic status was one of appearing to not have anything to lose, so why not go for the gold in a bogus personal injury lawsuit???? This is what I mean about constantly having to be on guard for sleezy actions coming out of the blue because there's very little integrity left in my real world (not my immediate personal world but society as a whole.) - John ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- __)) "Glass ceilings?
