I talked to the organizer and it seemed interesting. One can
go to up to three events before making a commitment to join of
$120 paid annually (can be paid in installments over a six month
   period).

Anyone have experience with this group?

I too contacted SAC a while back. I eventually decided to join the
Boston Ski and Sports Club because I am more interested in athletic
activities. I say more, not exclusively, because BSSC has a lot of
activities that are non-athletic too. I like that.

I thought SAC's $120 dues were a little on the steep side when
compared to BSSC's $55. Especially considering that BSSC has a lot
more weight to throw around when planning activities.
