Well this is true but before anyone gets the wrong idea, I will point
out that this group isn't ONLY for personals.  It is also a discussion
group.  Of course, there is no official charter so I guess this group
can be used any way you like.

In any case, it is probably a good idea to stick with the same
conventions used in alt.personals and alt.personals.ads.

 Excellent idea.  Let's actually SPELL OUT the conventions so that the
confusion is minimized:  (Note:  the ? stands for any one character)

  S??  = Single
  M??  = Married
  D??  = Divorced
  G??  = Gay (Homosexual)
  B??  = Bisexual
  ?W?  = White
  ?B?  = Black
  ?A?  = Asian
  ?J?  = Jewish
  ??M  = Male
  ??F  = Female

  Maybe we should have people list:  Age, Location, abbreviated description of
self and abbreviated description of what they're looking for.

  Sound good, or is that too strict and unreasonable?
