Well, it looks like everyone is waiting for someone else to go first,
so I guess I'll play the someone else.
I'm a software engineer for an electronics company, and I'm into
adventure. I rock climb, ice climb, race cars, work at race tracks,
downhill ski, I've jumped out of an airplane once and look forward to
doing it again. I would be quite interested in hearing from people
who are into any of the above.

I'm working on a new book these days.
It's called _Conquering_Other_Planets_For_Fun_And_Profit_.
The writing is kind of tedious, but the field research is a lot of fun.

A lot of this stuff was through the Bell Labs Adventure Club (guess where I work :-) ). I am actually in NJ, but have an account here on Portal for socializing purposes (online AD&D games meet on Portal every Monday and Wednesday). I'll probably be logging in here from both salt@shell.portal.com and rudy@cbnewsj.att.com. I apologize in advance for any confusion this may cause. Oh yes...I promised Phoebe (FEE-bee: Look it up, its in the dictionary :-) ) that I'd post a brief bio of myself. I'm 38, Single, never married but have no intention of staying in this state any longer than I have to. I live in NJ which I admit is not exactly a NE state...BUT I grew up (partly) in CT which I beleive IS a NE state. My home in Red Bank, is about five miles or so from Sandy Hook and a ten minute bike ride from the shore at Sea Bright. Currently I share my house with one cat (Stinky, long haired Himalayan) and one dog (Tobin, black Labrador retriever). Cheerio, Rudy
