The catalytic converter on my car is partially clogged.
I would like to replace the thing with a piece of pipe before it
gets totally stopped up (assuming it will). However, I am not sure
what other kinds of things should be done (.ie retuning the engine,
different plug temperature, etc.). Also, by removing the converter
and also the related backpreasure can I do any damage to the engine?
The type of car is a 1981 Subaru. Any suggestions/comments
will be appriciated.
