I've done it lots of times in speed chess. One is the position in
which you sack your Queen at N8 to force the rook to take it:
.....RK.
.....nPP
........
...q....
N-R6 double-check, K-R1. Q-N8 check, RxQ, N-B7 mate.
Another is a cheapo I've used on occasion on people playing
the Giuco Piano... only in speed-chess, of course.
1. p-k4 p-k4
2. n-kb3 n-qb3
3. b-b4 n-q5? (or !, depending on who you're playing...)
4. nxp?
(tempting, but wrong)
... q-n4
5. nxbp??
(the losing move)
... qxnp
6. r-b1 qxkp+
7. b-k2
(the alternative is q-k2 and lose the queen)
... n-b6 mate.
