I am looking for information that anyone out there could provide on
DBMS's/Data-Bases. Specifically, the questions I have are:

    1) What is the size of the largest data base you know of on a UN*X system?

    2) What DBMS/retrieval system was used to create/access this data
        base?

    3) What was the nature of the information stored in the data base?
( Record/field sizes, number of records/fields, data types of
fields, general idea of type of information stored in the data
        base, etc. )

    4) What kind of media was used for storage of the information?

    5) How much time was required to load the information into the data
        base initially?

    6) How were updates accomplished? ( How long did they take? How
often were they done? What percentage of the data base was
        updated? )

    7) What type of backup/recovery procedures were used, and how long did
        they take?

Any information that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.
I will attempt to summarize and repost any responses I may get.
