            Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research
        fellowship tenable for a fixed period of three years from October
        1st 1986 ,  or as soon as possible thereafter,  to help lead a
        project supported by the Digital Equipment Corporation entitled
        "Guidelines for the Development of Arabic Software".  Candidates
        should preferably have qualifications in computer science or a
        related discipline,  and be fluent in Arabic.  Starting salary up
        to 10865 pounds p.a.  (under review).  USS superannuation.  Apply
