Well, I may be getting a PDP-11/04 soon (yeah, I'm chuckling too), and
I'd like to know if anyone has managed to get any sort of non-DEC disk
drives, such as a normal IBM PC drive (boo hiss big blue meanies) to
work under RT-11 on such a system. The machine would come with a dual
RX01 unit, and I'd really like a little better storage than 256k on an
8 inch floppy. Since I'm a poor college student, I don't have the cash
to go out and buy an RX50. I guess an upgrade to an RX02 would be good,
but I get the feeling that that just doesn't happen. And, lastly, would it
be possible to hook a Unibus expansion box (like from an 11/15) into the
11/04 bus?

If someone could give me some help after you stop giggling, I'd be
extremely grateful. In fact, if it's good news, I might be joyous
enough to send you a box of Pop Tarts in gratitude.
