I figured uucp connections had to be at least as reliable (and as
fast) as the U.S. Snail, and that would make gamesmastering all the
easier.  Dream on...

The reason I'm bothering all of *you* with this is to double check on
just who out there is still interested, anyway.  Of late there have
been problems with the players getting MAH over the news; heck, I
don't even know if it's still forwarded.  So I want to see whether or
not it'd be easier to punt net.games.dip and just distribute MAH via
net-mail.  I certainly have a slight preference for news distribution,
but I'm also slightly paranoid about spending others' monies to
distribute something that's not of wide-spread interest.

Point being, I think it would be easiest/safest/nicest to drop the
newsgroup, and use mail to ensure that those who are genuinely
interested are definitely getting the 'zine.  If you are still
watching and want to keep following what's going on, drop me a line
and I'll put you on the mailing list.  If the number of responses is
great (i.e., spectators + players > 20), I guess it's okay to keep
using news.

Additionally, if you are interested in acting as an alternate or in
taking part in future game(s) or both, please feel free to volunteer
(even if you already have; it's nice to know that one's list is still
current).
