Recently I played a game called Pacman Plus in the student union of
the University of Cincinnati. It was very similar to the original
Pacman, but had the following exceptions:
a) only three monsters change to ghosts after consumption of
the power pellet
b) all monsters change to ghosts after consumption of fruit
c) faster characters for all boards.
There may be more differences, but so far I haven't gotten any
further than the second board. (Judging by the high score that night
on that particular machine-8770 points-no one else did either.
I'm interested in knowing if anyone else out there has played this
game and what their feelings are. Also, if there is any background
info (e.g., the copywright on the game is 1980 and 1982). Please reply
to the net, so we can start accumulating articles again.
