I've been getting a lot of mail recently with the following "From:"
line format:
From: William F. Hargrove <William.F.Hargrove.weitek!cae780!decvax!mcnc!ecsvax!hargrove>
These only started appearing in the last few months. Who's tacking
the "William.F.Hargrove" onto the front of the address? Why? Since
it merely repeats the information on the first field of the line, it
seems that its only purpose is to break people's mailers.
Does anyone have a reliable sendmail patch to detect and destroy
these Redundant.Full.Name fields?
