One thing should be mentioned concerning the IIGS upgrades
and mice. The IIGS mouse is designed to run off the bus
architecture, whereas the old mouse is slotted and may not
(guessing on this one) work in the same fashion. Apple has
yet to put the upgrades on their official price lists, and
when they do, it will be interesting to see if they offer
a bus-designed IIGS mouse as an available option. If I were
going to upgrade a //e, and I am, I would not run out and
buy an AppleMouse II now, regardless of the deal.
