Re: "... I want a fast machine with superior sound and graphics. ...." Same here! The question is what is the required resolution. The Xerox workstations has superior (black and white) graphics at about 80 dots/in. The Apple Macintosh also displays near that resolution. Therefore 640x400 on a 8"x5" (about 10" diagonal) monitor would look nice if it's non-interlaced. I am disappointed that Amiga comes so close yet still misses the mark. Leonard Li.
