I have owned an Atari 800 four 4 years and I have never heard anyone say that the Apple II was faster than the Atari. (True, disk access is faster). If you think the new ST and Amiga are toys then you are in the minority. Both computers are more powerful and elegant than the IBM PC. I guess the computer elitists will look down their noises at any computer which is priced to be affordable by the average consumer. As for me, I welcome the rest of the world into the computer age.
