I had the same type of problem when I got an account on Delphi. There is
a solution, Russ Wetmore (Homepak's author) wrote a Hometerm customizer.
You can get it off of DL2 in SIG Atari - 8 bit (I'm pretty sure) on
Compuserve.  This program lets you get rid of the unneeded linefeed and
tweak several other variables. There's good documentation for it too.

If you have trouble finding the program, Russ spends a lot of time on
compuserve and is always helpfull, or ask any of the Sysops.
