It appears that the atari sig has missed the discussion that i saw on the info-cpm mailnet regarding trojan horse programs. Never try out a new non- commercial program on an unprotected system. Be able to disconnect your Wini or have a fresh back up on the shelf. Some of these numbers have been really insideous, like worms, slowly eating away files, or worse yet subtly corrupting them, so that by the time you notice even your back ups were damaged. I seem to recall that a PD CP/M program was offered on Simtel-20 that scanned the program of your choice for disk I/O and flagged it for analysis. regards, der -------
