I bought an Atari 800 two Christmases ago, when they dropped below $100.
I have since added 2 1050 disk drives, each received with single density
DOS. Both drives were "registered" with Atari, and have been under continuous
maintenance contracts, although never serviced.
I have seen several comments lately regarding the "double density" DOS.
Shouldn't I have received it, or at least a notice of how to get it, from
Atari? Is there some action I am supposed to take to ask for it?
