a) Select the application, install the application, save the desktop.
b) It is saved on your system disk's resource file.
c) It means that GEM is informed about the run time requirements for
this particular program, i.e., is it a GEM application, or is it A "TOS"
application. If it is a TOS application, and you select TOS- takes parameters,
you can pass arguements to the program. If you save the desktop after
installing an application, all of this data is stored in a resource file.
