I am looking for a system monitor/front panel emulator for the 800xl. Any pointers, especially to PD code, appreciated. der "...of course my opinions differ from 'most everyone's. If they didn't, i'd probably have to change them, lest i remain in error." -------

Re: "monitor/front panel emulator" - You might look into the monitor called Omnimon available from CDY Consulting, Richardson TX. The phone number there is (214) 235-2146. The chap who will likely answer the phone is David Young, and he can tell you what his Omnimon will do or send you literature. I just bought this and a couple of other nifty things from him, but have been out of town a lot and haven't gotten it up and running yet. John Sangster jhs at mitre-bedford.arpa
