        I have a problem with some of my atari games, when run in an XL the
programs will not function properly because of the BASIC in rom. Does anyone
know how to avoid this?

	From what I understand about the XL series, all you have to do is
hold down the <OPTION> key and the system skips the BASIC ROM. If that is
not the problem, you may look into the Translator Disk available from 
Atari.
