Does anyone know the hardware specifics of the ST? How many slots, if
any does it have? What about monitor resolution in black and white, and
color? What size are the disk drives and are they single or double sided?
How about the size of this machine; is it small enough to be a portable like
a Mac?
Thanks Much,
Stuart

Stuart: There are lots of specs available on the ST in the last 2 or 3 issues of Antic and Analog magazine as well as most of the major microcomputer magazines recently. However, the answers to those things you wanted to know are: 320 x 200 & 640 x 200 in color. It is 16 colors out of a pallette of 512, and I think there are ways of doing more than 16, just like display lists on the 800s & xls. The hi res monochrome mode is 640 & 400, and requires a special monitor because of the vertical resolution. It is very, very small and light, much more so than it looks in the pictures. Therre arre no slots, but there is an expansion port on the back. Mike Bassman
