I have been running two ramdisks in my 800XL with CDY's 256KL upgrade. Actually, one of them has been a 130XE compatible 500+ sector one and the other a standard SD 720-sector one. I have noticed no problems, but I can't swear that I have really filled them both up at the same time. With 256K, it is possible to implement two 720-sector ramdisks, as this takes only 186320 bytes for the storage, and you have 196608 bytes to work with. But obviously there isn't room for error! I.e. all 16K segments will be used! -John Sangster jhs@mitre-bedford.arpa <..anypath!ihnp4>!linus!mbunix!jhs
