[The line-eater is a boojum snark!]
I have a complaint/question about the auto-answer default for the
C1670 (Modem 1200) auto-answer setting. The modem automatically
comes up with the S0 register set to 1 instead of zero. Is there
some simple way to default this to not-auto answer without having
to send a command string to the dern thing. Its a real bear to
have to disconnect the phone line when my computer is on and I'm
not using the modem.
