Recently I've been receiving a lot of mail from people who want
copies of UW v3.4a and are afraid that they've missed seeing it
on USENET (news).  (ARPANET-connected sites can obtain UW via
anonymous FTP from S1-C.ARPA)

The combination of my last-minute fix, unreliable UUCP mail, and
a 4.2BSD->4.3BSD conversion near "felix" have delayed UW from
being posted in one of the moderated Mac newsgroups.  I spoke
by telephone with Roger Long earlier this week, and he told me
that news was temporarily out of order on his main news feed.
(I assume that it still is, since there has been no recent
traffic in either "mod.mac.sources" or "mod.mac.binaries".)
