Doug, While not a basic program, there is a Freeware product for the TIPC which is excellent. It is called (very original) TERM. The package emulates a vt100 or a vt52, and supports XMODEM file transfer. It also allows for ascii capture and upload. The program is available from Greg Gilley (author) or from many bulletin boards. He asks $15 if you get it from a bulletin board or a friend, and #30 if he sends a diskette with hardcopy documentation. Contacts: Greg Gilley c/o BLACK BOX RBBS-RCP/M 512-835-9742 24 hours 300/1200 also: Confusion Research Center 512-471-5167 24 hours 300/1200 U.S. Mail Greg Gilley 3524 Greystone #106 Austin, Tx 78731 This does not get you the basic code to control the RS-232 port on a TIPC but TERM will provide a very good interface to a dial-up system. Ron Stafford, Texas Instrument, Inc. P.S. All the standard disclaimers, The opinions are mine. This product is not a TI product(Should be, But isn't). I have no connection with Greg other than I use the TERM product.
