Does anyone out there know of a simple way to extend the tandy 2000 bus?
Mine is now full and I would like to put in a full 840K. Does tandy have
anything in the works or is the product really dead?
Also, does anyone know if there is a version of MS-DOS for the 2000 later
than 2.11 or if there ever will be one?

Can anyone out there tell me a quick easy way to get a coco to use the serial port. I would like to write a simple basic dumb terminal program. I have a dcm-5 modem and it has a port to match the serial port on the coco. also, can the serial port be made into an rs232 sort of. if so which pin goes where. I already have cable and both ends, I just need to know which pin goes where. thanks

There are several Tandy 2000 fanatics in Portland who would like to know the same thing. Tandy, doing their best imitation of IBM, refuses to comment on the question of a new OS. This makes it tough for Tandy 2k owners who have 20meg hard disks and are stuck with 12 bit FATs so they have nice big 'fat' 4k clusters. Boy those batch files really eat up disk space. Compuserve has a Tandy 2000 board under PCS-21 (TRSPROSIG) with real-live Tandy reps online and available for flaming. On the same message board, a 1meg project has been going around for the past 6 months. Anyone interested in uping their 2K's RAM might want to check on Compuserve. -- Steven C. Ok I give up. I have tried translating terminal emulators and surfing through z80 code, but I still don't get it. If some kind soul has some free time, I would love a detailed description of a very simple dumb terminal in any form four my model iv. I have edtasm for the iii mode. What I would love to have see and hold is a basic dumb terminal emulator with as little z80 involved as needed. oh someone teach inform my tired soul. I suppose a model iii is not the best thing to learn communication on, but it is what i have. thanks in advance
