(Re previous article from ucbvax!ucbarpa!comay) There are good reviews of SWL receivers in the World Radio TV Handbook, published by Billboard each year. (The WRTH is considered the standard SWL reference.) It should be available in most libraries. The new one is coming out in about 3 weeks. The 1981 edition reviewed portables; I think the 1982 will review expensive receivers, but I'm not certain.) You can get a free receiver shopping list by writing to: Radio Netherlands P.O. Box 222 1200 JG Hilversum, Holland Also, there are equipment reviews on Radio Canada International (Sunday nights at 8 P.M. and 11 P.M. EST) and Radio RSA (South Africa) (Saturday nights at 9:30 P.M. EST) Joel Rubin
