The values were from a very comprehensive independent benchmark suite put
together by Unix user organizations in Europe.  The I/O test is the well known
standard Musbus test from Monash University, Australia.

Remember the 720 is a very old machine and is now being obsoleted by the
new 7x5 series (PA7100).

The relative performance values I gave are in good agreement with the 
published SPEC92 values:
