I got a pretty similar response. I sent email (cc:ed to the poster) to 
abuse@netcom.com, asking that this guy be informed that local *.general 
newsgroups are not the place to post ads. I didn't even bring up the content 
of the post beyond the fact that it was an inappropriately posted 
advertisement. (Well, I might have mentioned a little something about the fact 
that there are all those weird formatting codes in there), so Lee Pryor 
emailed me with a bunch of garbage about how I am just a pathetic loser 
corporate flunky who will never have the vast earning power of a predatory 
Usenet Velveeta-boy like him. (Heh heh. Wanna bet, Monkeyboy?) I told him that 
I wasn't interested in continuing the discussion and not to email me again. 

I got the following in response:

back from them. *Sheesh* Even AOL at least sends you a form letter.)
