INTEROP is a conference/exhibition for business and technical networking
issues, and it's going on this week, August 22-27, in San Francisco.

It's a bit late to register for the conference proper, but the exhibit is
going on Wednesday the 25th thruh Friday the 27th, and it's free if you can
scare up a "FREE ExhibitsPlus" pass (find 'em in MicroTimes, the Sunday San
Jose Mercury News, technical bookstores, from an exhibitor, etc.).
(Otherwise, it's $50 at the door.)

If you know me or the PDIAL, I'd be interested in meeting you. My schedule
is still in a state of flux, so I'm not sure how or when I'll be available
yet, but if you're interested, send me email (with "INTEROP" in the
subject) and tell me when you're available, and we'll see what works out.
If there are enough people interested, perhaps we can set up some sort of
informal BOF or something.

Ye Olde Claimer of Dis: I'm not affiliated with INTEROP. To contact them:
Interop Company, 1-800-488-2883 vox, +1 415-949-1779 fax.

And NETCOM has a booth again this year. Bob will be manning the booth most
of the time with help from others on the staff. The booth number is #2806
in the South Hall of the Moscone.

So this is a good opportunity to meet Bob and to discuss networking with
him.

Ciao!
