I have had no gpf or loss of connection. I eliminated this problem. I one found out what the right modem string is for my modem. I put 10288 before Netcoms number. I then use the application launcher to either launch Netscape or Mosiac. Since I have done this all these other problems went away. You might give a try, who knows you might get lucky and eliminat your problems.
