A call to Technical Support was long distance to California and I have been put on hold as long as 30 minutes. When I disconnected NETCOM, I was informed by the Customer Service Rep who took my disconnect request, that Netcom has an 800 number for technical support during business hours Monday thru Friday. Nobody I know who uses Netcom (quite a few people) knew about the 800 number. I know they have an 800 number for their sales center. If you call this number, there is a technical support option on the recording. If you select this option, the recording tells you to call the Area Code 408 number!! If there is an 800 number for technical support, they're certainly not marketing it. Has anyone heard of the so-called 800 number for technical support?
