I am looking for a complete list of U.S. college and university
domains.  I often need to find out where someone is whose address ends
in edu.  For example, I'd like to be able to look up (or grep on)
"asu.edu" and find that it is the domain for Arizona State University.

I have found a list of U.S. law school domains, but there are only 142
schools on it.  (I'll send it to anyone interested--I have forgotten
where I got it.)

Why don't you just type "whois asu.edu" at a prompt?
