What version of "Netcom" are you using? I was using NetCruiser Ver. 2.0
and about a month ago started getting more & more "Login error - file
not found" msgs. I contacted Tech Support and they said that Versions
of NetCruiser from 2.0, back thru 1.5, and earlier could have this
problem.

Although I didn't WANT to, because I REALLY like the FTP "maps," I
"up-graded" to Ver. 2.1.1 and the dial in error problem went away.
