I was going to let this singularly graceless apology go by without comment,
but considering your follow-up post I've changed my mind.

If you want to have an apology taken seriously, it generally helps if you
*sound* sorry.  Cut the excuses, cut the bluster, cut the swearing -- get
to the point.  Enough with the hey, it wasn't my fault!
