It appears that many of the sites using INN are using old information
in their control.ctl files when it comes to newgroup messages for
the bionet hierarchy. If yours contains something like this:

        newgroup:shibumi@*.bio.net:bionet.*:doit=mail
        newgroup:kristoff@genbank.bio.net:bionet.*:doit=mail

please change it to

        newgroup:dmack@*.bio.net:bionet.*:doit=mail
        newgroup:kristoff@*.bio.net:bionet.*:doit=mail

shibumi is no longer with the project and genbank.bio.net
is long gone.

If you want to be sure you are carrying all of the groups in the
bionet hierarchy, the most current checkgroups message is always
available at ftp://net.bio.net/pub/BIOSCI/doc/bionet-checkgroups-msg
or through gopher to gopher.bio.net >> "FAQs and Other Documents" >>
bionet-checkgroups-msg.

Anybody know what the canonical procedure for issuing to changes
to the control.ctl file is?
