As part of the news.admin reorganization which recently passed, 
news.admin.hierarchies was just created. If it doess not become available 
at your site in the next few days write to your news administrator (write to
the address news or usenet at your site or write to the technical support
people there) and ask that it be added.

Here is the charter:                   

    news.admin.hierarchies Charter

    Topics for discussion include the creation of proposed new hierarchies,
    the removal of existing hierarchies, the modification of the rules and
    customs governing the operation of existing hierarchies, advice for news
    administrators on the management of hierarchies at their sites,
    announcements and queries concerning hierarchies, futuristic ideas for
    namespace management.
