Question about our friend

I've been watching the posts fly back and forth between our
friend and the others. I noticed that nothing from our friend came
through last night. Did he finally get shut off?

Also, I notice that others refer to him by different names. Just
curious if someone would email me a brief history of his activities

Thanks,

Everyone deserves a short break now and then... Maybe the PC was accidentally
turned off by the maid ? Disk crash ? Power failure ? Funding suspended ?

Before I attempt to do it, has someone already done some analysis on the
stuff it produces ? i.e. Gather ALL articles originating from the site for
a certain period of time and check posting dates/times, length, consistency,
typing errors, repeats, ... ?

As a sidenote, I have to admire the thing : from a follow-up posting by me
only containing two words (posted to soc.culture.turkish) it deduced that
I was myopic (TRUE !!, but not severely, and I do wear specs), cross-posted to
a dozen newsgroups and directed followups back to soc.culture.turkish
Clearly a case of "I can shout louder than you can."

Eric.

With any justice at all, he got the Sun Devil treatment.

Alas, I doubt that this is what occured, but isn't it a nice thought?

I have. I have collected everything on soc.culture.europe for almost
a year now, and have written a program to produce very detailed statistics.
(Time of the day and volume posted, hour by hour, proportion of
posts by topic, number, and length. Some weeks Mutlu/Argic posted
half a megabyte, accounting for 70% and more of the total traffic).
I used to post the weekly statistics on soc.culture.europe under the
title "Weekly Mutlu Index", preceded with zany editorials when I
was in the mood. I still save everything off soc.culture.europe,
but haven't run and produced any Mutlu Index for about three months
(getting a bit boring, it is). I have saved all the past data, and
issues of the Weekly Mutlu index on a streaming tape. You're all
welcome to the whole sorry lot.
