My news/mail gateway package, known as "newsgate" appeared in Volume 24
of comp.sources.unix.

I have a more recent version that fixes one or two bugs, adds some
features -- the usual kind of thing. *That* version is in beta, and is
available only by writing to rsalz@uunet.uu.net, and only if you promise
not to redistribute it anywhere.

If the c.s.unix version works for you, please do not ask for the beta.

I will release it when I get some time. At that point you will be able
to do anything you want to with the code, as pretty much the case with
almost everything I make available over the net.
