Hi All, Often an article is posted in a group with a crossposting in local group "general". Every site has its own general group which has usually the function of containing local messages. However when such a crossposted article arrives at another Cnews site, it is linked in the group is was posted in *and* in "general", which is also present (of course). This article in general that results from that, usually does not belong in that local general. Example: Posting in rec.bicycles.misc and crossposted in general at site A. "Who stole my bike?" Posting received at site B, is linked into rec.bicycles.misc and general at site B. Usually no one at site B is interested in the stolen bike of someone at site A. Question: How can I get Cnews *not* to link incoming articles into general, but only locally posted articles. Please reply via email. Thank You.
