I bet the secretary of the campus computing director has a larger
hard disk than the partition allocated for News.... Well? what are they?
There is NO excuse for a major facility to complain about lack of
disk space these days. Print one less stupid flyer to be mailed out to
your campus glorifying your computer center; Buy resonable CPU's for
secretaries instead of 486/33's or Q950's; Network your office printer;
Any of these are unnecesary waste of money carried out in MOST 
'central' computer sites. And any of them buy you a gigabyte.
It's just where you want to spend your money: for toys for yourself&
your staff  -or- for your users, you are paying for all of it.
